With a software engineering and information systems career spanning over thirty years, Deryck Jones pioneered creative designs of software, GPS, robotics and lasers that helped transform the construction, agriculture, engineering, mining, dredging and survey industries. He was sought out by one of the world’s leading PR firms to conquer their critical knowledge management challenges and his success won him recognition from Computerworld as a Premier 100 IT Leader Award Recipient. Mr. Jones went on to launch ONdemand Communications Group, Inc., in Boston, MA, winning recognition from CRN Magazine as a NextGen 250 Company in 2011 and 2012.
As Vice President of Research and Development for Spectra Precision Software, Inc., a Thermo Instruments Company and later acquired by Trimble Navigation Inc., Mr. Jones was a pivotal member of the Global Quality Management Team, the ISO Guidance Team, and Founder of the Global Information Technology and Services Committee. He led international teams in the development of the world’s first fully autonomous robotic machine control system, the first one man robotic total station, and over two dozen commercial software releases worldwide. “Deryck brought professionalism and experience to the Software R&D function,” said Ken Reed, Senior Engineering Manager at Trimble. “He introduced an entrepreneurial group to professional best practices, formal software development processes, and established formal QA and project management. He instituted career development planning and supported training aligned to business goals. Deryck was an excellent mentor and manager.”

Mr. Jones holds a BS in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing with a concentration in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Technology and Digital Communications. He also holds numerous certifications in electronics, networking, GPS, GIS, management, process engineering, software development, project management, and telecommunications. A member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), he is also a certified Apple Consultant and mobility expert, ISO Auditor and CMMI expert and holds MCSE(S), MCNA, MCP, and CISA certifications.
Mr. Lavigne has more than 25 years' experience in the fields of law and accounting. During that time, he has worked for several regional and large local accounting firms in their audit and tax departments. As a licensed attorney, Bruce has also practiced law independently, assisting his clients in legal and tax matters since 1996.
Mr. Lavigne holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University (formerly Bentley College) and has received the designation of Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts. He also has a Juris Doctorate in Laws from the Massachusetts School of Law and is a member of the federal and Massachusetts bars. Bruce has worked with several start- up companies in various capacities including serving as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of a software development company.
